Poland: EP Impact Center

Only 0.2% of Poland’s population is Evangelical Christian and there are only about 700 churches in the entire country of 37.6 million people. The church in Poland is growing and people are increasingly hungry and thirsty to know Jesus, but there is still much work to be done to train and equip believers and church leaders to multiply and reach their country for Christ.

In Poland, it is difficult for pastors and churches to work together because they lack a suitable meeting space. Almost all of the churches in Poland rent small spaces to meet that are not fit for large gatherings.

Avant is partnering with Evangelical Poland, an exciting new initiative and network of churches founded by Avant missionaries, to help purchase a facility that will be a multipurpose ministry center. This building includes a large auditorium, conference rooms, studio apartments, a restaurant with a professional kitchen, and 200,000 square feet of surrounding land, including a wooded area that can be used for a variety of outdoor activities.

The purchase of this property and 60,000 square foot building will allow churches to work in partnership, holding retreats, conferences, leadership development trainings, evangelistic events, and other gatherings throughout the year for greater collaboration. God is doing great things through Evangelical Poland, and we believe this Impact Center will provide the space for exponential growth in the Polish church.  

Avant’s goal is to raise $320,000 of the total amount needed for this purchase and renovation. The remaining need will be provided by other supporting churches and ministry partners in the US and Europe, and through members and ministry partners of Evangelical Poland.
