Avant's mission statement is "...to plant and develop churches." While a large percentage of the mission's efforts are focused on planting churches in the unreached areas of the world, these churches need to become missionally healthy. Believers need to be trained to lead, to send, and to go! In short, the development of missionally healthy churches that grow and go requires a focus on equipping.
The development and equipping ministries of Avant take on a wide range of forms, from the formal theological education of believers in field-based seminaries to the educating of our missionary children in MK schools around the world.
