Theological Education in Argentina
Though the evangelical church grew rapidly in the last two decades of the 20th century, that growth has tapered off. This growth has left a significant vacuum in leadership as well as in biblical and theological stability.
Professors are needed who not only know their Bible and theology, but also the ministry context as well. This would require a significant amount of time working in a local church in Argentina.
Two opportunities present themselves: a) teaching in the Mendoza Evangelical Bible Institute and b) teaching and equipping in a more itinerant ministry in the churches of the Union Misionera Evangelica. These churches are widely distributed in Argentina and thus would require liberty and funds to travel. A high level of Spanish speaking ability is recommended.
