Avant has a long lasting history of proclaiming the gospel in Brazil. Churches that have been planted are now looking to plant others.
We are looking for people to use their gifts and skills to come alongside and train locals through a church context; modules, weekly sessions, or one week spans or seminar style weekends. The candidate will come to contribute to the maturing of the church body/bodies; serving the church is the focus, so cooperation with church leadership is necessary. national believers to plant new churches in Western Brazil.

Qualifications:
- Productive member of a church body
- Some Bible training
- Capable of working well in a team environment
- Willing to learn Portuguese
Specific skills needed:
- Music, sports, camp program and media
Requirements
Avant requires education or training appropriate for the specific ministry in which the candidate will be engaged. Completion of an orientation program is contingent upon length of service. It is expected that applicants will have demonstrated their abilities in Christian service prior to application. A working knowledge of the Bible is required for all personnel.
